The Black Creek Microcredit Program is volunteer-based. Our volunteers contribute resources towards the running of the Community Loan Fund through their donation of time, skills, goods and/or services.

“Building a Stronger Community Together”

You can volunteer to sit on our committees.

  • The Loan Review Committee is a diverse group of volunteers from the community who meet regularly to review loan applications and connect with our borrowers throughout the period of the loan.
  • The Outreach Committee is responsible for the promotion of the program – from seeking investors and donors and raising our profile in the community to recruiting new volunteers.

Interested in volunteering? Please complete our Volunteer Application Form (this will be hyperlinked).

You can mentor a new micro-entrepreneur.

Mentors assist our clients in the application stage as well as during the repayment phase to achieve specific business objectives.

To discuss our mentorship program, please contact us at microlending@blackcreekcc.ca or leave a message at 416-747-5616.

You can offer skills or sales discounts to local small businesses.

If you can provide these kinds of supports, please contact us at microlending@blackcreekcc.ca or leave a message at 416-747-5616.
